At Spoke Therapy our therapists work collaboratively to find the treatment approach that is most helpful to your personal needs. Many types of therapeutic methods are drawn upon both short term and long-term psychotherapy.
Individual therapy:
Our individual therapists provide you with one-on-one support in order to facilitate symptom reduction, self-understanding, healing and growth. We provide a safe space to explore topics such as anxiety, sleep disturbances, depression, dissociative experiences, anger, grief, trauma, substance abuse, and life transitions. We will support you in coping with intrusive symptoms, sorting through emotions, understanding behaviors, and setting goals to make the desired changes in your life.
Group Therapy:
Group therapy can feel intimidating at first, however, it provides benefits that individual therapy may not. Group members are almost always surprised by how rewarding the group experience can be. Groups can act as a support network and a sounding board. Regularly talking and listening to others can help you feel supported and companioned by others who may be dealing with similar mental health issues.
Couples Therapy:
Couples counseling is a helpful resource if you are managing a specific life event. It can also provide the space to strengthen your relationship and support to move through different phases of your life. Our therapists serve as an objective party enabling the couple to develop an understanding of the relational dynamics each partner brings to the relationship. We facilitate respectful communication and understanding to manage conflict and foster empathy in your relationship
Consultation:
Consultation is provided by our licensed clinical social workers for professionals beginning their careers or needing guidance with complex trauma, relationship dynamics, mental health issues, and older adult issues.
